Commissioned for a contemporary housing development opened in the year of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, this six metre cantilever gate was designed as a bold, contemporary sculptural feature to complement the modern setting.
The design incorporates approximately 40% open area to provide ventilation to the lower car parking area while creating a substantial and secure entrance.
Constructed from laser cut reinforced steel panels, the entire structure has been galvanised for a long outdoor life. Matching security grilles were incorporated throughout the property to create a cohesive architectural scheme.
The gate operates as a cantilevered structure, allowing it to open without a ground track.
